2024-We drove 4 hours just to enjoy this authentic and delicious meal. This is the place to share with everyone at your table. We had the sampler, stuffed cabbage, bratwurst and Paprika Huhnerbrust (chicken). Yum! 2026- Still worth the drive!! We try to get here at least once a year. Hubby finally got the strawberry/rhubarb crumb cake, and was not disappointed!

Stopped by Edelweiss Restaurant while in Staunton and had the Wiener Schnitzel with mashed potatoes, a roll, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was excellent. The schnitzel was cooked perfectly with great flavor, the mashed potatoes tasted like real homemade comfort food, and the cheesecake was the perfect ending to the meal. Better than home cooking and I love home cooking. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Felt like I was a regular even though it was my first visit. The atmosphere was Class M, with the standard breathable mix of approximately 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, 0.9 percent argon, 0.04 percent carbon dioxide, trace gases — and the unmistakable aroma of schnitzel, gravy, fresh bread, and German comfort food. The décor had a cozy old-world feel that made the whole experience even better. If I lived closer, I’d eat here weekly.
